The story on this engine:

This engine was 'Thrown away', into a dump, in 1988 or early 1989. As BMW had quit the Marine industry BMW Engines became Obsolete Stock. It was 'Rescued' [ read as you wish ] and sat 'Resting' till now.

Many external parts were damaged. We are 'Refurbishing this engine to new condition. It will be 'Test' run then crated for shipping. It is available in late February. This may be 'The Last New BMW D7' in existence, but then we thought that about the new D12 we sold recently, and now another New D12 has shown up.

In keeping with the Spirit of these engines, it will be as close to 'Perfect' as we can make it....

Our stock of D7 parts is coming long quite well. It has taken a long time to source parts. Some cylinder Heads, manifolds, stators, rebuilt injectors and pumps are now on hand.
